Download Phenix Base
One file. No install. Works offline.
- iPhone: open it in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android: open it in Chrome, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Open it once with a connection. After that, the sheets, your own sheets and your markers work offline.
How it works
- Download the file. About 7.3 MB, every sheet included.
- Open it with a double click. It opens in your browser.
- Use it. The sheets need no connection.
Your data
Everything stays on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere, there's no account and no server. Your sheets, maps and markers are saved automatically and are still there when you reopen it.
Export your backup regularly from Settings. That's how you move from one device to another, and how you lose nothing if you clear your browser data.
What needs a connection
Only loading a new map area and searching for a place. Once an area is saved, it works offline. Everything else, sheets, writing, bookshelf, modules, works without a network.
Windows version
The Windows version is available: a 2.3 MB installer. macOS and Linux are on the way. The HTML file stays the main app: it already does everything, and needs no install.
The app isn't signed yet, so Windows may warn you. Click More info, then Run anyway.
Code and sheets
Everything is open. The software is under the MIT licence, the sheets under CC BY-SA 4.0. You can copy, modify and share both.
